Dr. Palmer has been amazing!!! I came to Lakewood Ranch Acupunture to quit smoking. Not only have I quit smoking but... I’ve also quit drinking anything with caffeine. These are both huge accomplishments for me! Dr. Palmer has been so supportive!! This whole experience has been life changing for me!! Also my IBS has been in-check as well!I highly recommend Dr. Palmer and the whole staff at Lakewood Ranch Acupunture!! You walk in their office and you are greeted by everyone with your first name. This place is incredible. What a find! Highly recommend if you have all types of concerns (low back, anxiety, overall... health and wellness etc.). Dr Becky Palmer is a miracle worker. I had a low back/glute issue from a sports injury for over a year that she has been able to reduce pain by more than 70-80% including coaching on exercises and stretches for rehab. I’ve been to top sports doctors and physical therapist not one of the them has been able to treat this issue like Dr Becky has. I’m almost finished with treatment (5 -7 sessions) and I’m feeling great. Can’t wait to get back to my active life! So super grateful for LWR Accupuncture and Wellness! They know their stuff!read more

I usually only write reviews when I have a negative experience but Dr Palmer was so great that I had to speak up. She... was really thorough and she helped me dramatically reduce my neck pain. She even recommended stretches and other therapies for me to do at home in between accupuncture treatments.read more

I have an open mind when it comes to holistic medicine and have tried acupuncture in the past with few of any results. ... So when my friend told me about Dr. Carter at Lakewood Ranch Wellness and the positive results she was getting for her back pain I was happy for her but immediately thought ‘been there, done that’. But, the low back and hip pain wasn’t getting any better. So I made an appointment. It was the best decision I could have made. I felt tremendous relief from the hip pain after the first visit. This treatment has literally given me back my lifestyle. This amazing Lady knows her stuff! The hip pain is completely gone and the low back pain has improved about 80%…. Dr. Russo is an amazing acupuncturist. I had the best results seeing him. His technic and knowledge of the field is... great, barely felt the needles. Besides his effective pain free acupuncture treatments, he is the one to go to if you would like to add herbs and supplements to your treatment protocol. I was referred to this business by one of my co workers. I love the cleanliness and the friendly workers there. Dr.... Smith is excellent at her job. She has a plethora of knowledge when it comes to this field. She’s a kind and lovable person and I AKWSYS look forward to her greeting me at the door with her beautiful smile. I have suffered foot pain for most of my life. I have high arches and stretched tendons in my feet coupled with a mild... birth defect that has made long walks and standing all day difficult to say the least. Then I decided to try some focused acupuncture on my feet. 5-6 weeks in I can't even begin to tell you what a difference it has made in my day to day ability to walk comfortably. Dr. Adrianne Smith has been a blessing. Her knowledge of Eastern medicine and ability to target the pain areas are beyond amazing. Until I began these treatments, my only other option was a surgical procedure where an orthopedic surgeon wanted to break my foot, heal, and toes to cut and reset the ligaments in my feet. I am SO happy to say I rejected that option and went with the now proven and relaxing option of acupuncture at Lakewood Ranch Acupuncture and Wellness. I even used to wear a brace on my right foot for added support and that has ended. All I do on my end is rest my bad foot on a heating pad a few times a week at her suggestion. So if you thought acupuncture was just to treat your head, neck and back, think again.read more

Dr. Smith and her team are well equipped to handle any ailment you may be experiencing. She is amazing! I had never had... cupping or acupuncture and was facing removal of my gallbladder. If you have ever thought about acupuncture and cupping, just take the plunge and DO IT!! It is a wonderful experience... that you NEED in your life. You immediately feel calmer when you walk inside. It’s a very nice office and so clean. I was having many issues with anxiety, stress, depression and neck/back problems. They have truly lessened so much because of Dr. Smith. What an amazing place here! I can’t speak highly enough about the excellent care and professionalism of Dr. Amanda... Carter and Dr. Courtney. Such kind people and I always feel better after leaving here. I get really bad neck pain and migraines and they have helped this tremendously for me. I was a little scared to try acupuncture because I thought it would hurt but I was pleasantly surprised how gentle it is and how relaxed I always feel. I even fell asleep! Dr. Dean is that person. He is a natural born healer who has improved his skills with intensive training. And, on top of that, he is a genuinely caring and good person.
